Darülfünun Theology Foundation Students Pay a Visit to Our Faculty

Students of the Faculty of Theology at Istanbul University, who are currently receiving education at the Darülfünun Theology Foundation, visited the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University as part of an Academic and Cultural Exchange Program. During the visit, the students met with our Dean, Prof. Dr. Ahmet İnanır, who provided information about the faculty's educational activities and academic work. Held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the meeting focused on current issues in theological education, student experiences, and opportunities for academic collaboration. Our Dean expressed his pleasure in hosting the visiting students and emphasized the importance of inter-university interaction in strengthening academic cooperation. The students from the Darülfünun Theology Foundation thanked the faculty for its warm hospitality. As part of the program, the visiting students were introduced to the faculty's classrooms, library, and other academic facilities, giving them the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the faculty's educational environment. Throughout the visit, participants exchanged ideas and discussed potential joint academic activities that could be organized in the future. The program concluded with a commemorative group photograph and expressions of goodwill. It is hoped that this visit will contribute to strengthening the academic and social ties between the two institutions.
